Installation in the
Origami Fountains in JAPAN TOWN!
sto.mach.ic is an installation series across San Francisco to spotlight the omni-presence of mixed plastics, and to bust the plastic recycling myth wide open.

These installations are made with mixed and end-of-life plastics we use in our day to day lives, and which are headed directly for the landfills. They are collected and diverted to this project by small businesses and community organizations.

sto.mach.ic installations are made of the very material we assume is 'recyclable', but in reality, is eventually consigned to the landfill.

Our landfills are giving the Earth a malignant stomach ache and this effort to keep plastics away from landfills, raise awareness and eventually shift consumer and community behavior is the sto.mach.ic (the cure).

/Collaborate/
If you would like a sto.mach.ic installation in your institution, a public space, at your workplace, in your neighborhood and even in your homes, I want to collaborate with you to create site-specific installations that speak to your community and purpose.

If you are a business or a community organization and would like to divert plastics towards the next installation, I want to hear from you.

I am especially interested in bringing sto.mach.ic to cities that do not yet have comprehensive urban waste management ecosystems. Seattle, WA or Portland, OR and NYC
